Obituary of Doreen Mary Lenz

Suddenly at her residence Friday November 13, 2015. Doreen Lenz (nee Loughlean) of Oxenden and formerly of Shallow Lake in her 73rd year. Beloved wife of Ted Deakins and the late Mervyn Lenz (2003). Dear mother of the late Martin Lenz (2006) and Steven Lenz and his friend Iris of Shallow Lake. Step-mother of Cindy (Jamie) Moore of Georgian Bluffs, Kaleigh Chamberlain-Deakins of Kitchener, Chris (Trina) Deakins of Kitchener and Andrew Chamberlain-Deakins of Georgian Bluffs. Loved grandmother of Melissa, Joshua, Alex, Brandon and Chloe. Cherished sister of Shirley and Ed McMillan of Shallow Lake and sister-in-law of Muriel Parks of Owen Sound. Special Aunt to Murray, Susan, Jamie, Larry,Graham and Anna as well as several great nieces and great nephews. Predeceased by brother Douglas Loughlean and infant brother Albert Friends may call at the DOWNS AND SON FUNERAL HOME, Hepworth on Tuesday from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. The funeral service will be conducted from the funeral home on Wednesday at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Keith Sweeting officiating. Interment Boyd Cemetery. Expressions of remembrance to Grey Bruce Regional Health Services Owen Sound or the Heart & Stroke Foundation would be appreciated.
