Obituary of Elsie Jarl

JARL, Ruth Elsie peacefully at Gateway Haven Nursing Home, Wiarton on Wednesday, November 26, 2025.  Elsie Jarl formerly of Sauble Beach and Owen Sound in her 96th year.  Beloved wife of the late Eric Jarl.  Cherished mother of Kristina Jarl of Sweden, Staffan (Lisa) of Toronto, Leif (Leanne) of Tara and Birgitta Jarl of Georgian Bluffs and mother-in-law of Susan of Calgary.  Much loved grandmother of Kerri, Kristopher (Angie), Emily, Amanda (Zach), Erika (Sean), Ashley, Brianna, Cassandra and Riley, great grandmother of James, Jessica, Jeremy, Ryan, Lucas, Keegan and Leah and great great grandmother of Maria and Warren.  Predeceased by her son Lars Warren 'Chuck', grandson Erik, son-in-law Brad Brainard, parents Berta (nee Janson) and Herbert Andersson and sister Maj Larsson.

The funeral service will be conducted from the DOWNS AND SON FUNERAL HOME, Hepworth on Friday, December 5, 2025 at 1:00 p.m. with visitation 1 hour prior to the service.

The funeral service will be recorded and available to view the day following.
