Obituary of Ruth McKnight

McKNIGHT, Ruth Eleanor peacefully at Summit Place, Owen Sound early Saturday, January 24, 2026. Ruth McKnight (nee Cruickshank) of Owen Sound at the age of 92 1/2.  Cherished mother of Bev-Ann Illman (Robert) of Williamsford and Brian McKnight of Shallow Lake.  Much loved grandmother of Karrie (Kevin), Josh (Court), Keegan (Verlane), Angelina (Garth) and Alannah (Dylan), great grandmother of Treasure, Chase, Keira, Sophia, Isla, Oakley, Finley, Lily, Vivienne, Georgia and Jackson and great great grandmother of Starling.  Missed by nieces and nephews.  Predeceased by parents Alice (nee Seaman) and Robert Cruickshank, son Rob, daughter Sandra, grandson Cody, sister Verona Noble (Cot) and brother Robert Cruickshank (Grace).

The funeral service will be conducted from the DOWNS AND SON FUNERAL HOME, Hepworth on Wednesday, January 28, 2026 at 2:00 p.m. with visitation 1 hour prior to the service.  Spring interment Zion Cemetery.  Expressions of remembrance to the MS Society or the First Baptist Church Owen Sound would be appreciated.  Messages of condolence may be sent to the family through www.downsandsonfuneralhome.com
