Dear Leone,
Your presence in our lives was a gift we cherished deeply. From the earliest memories of my childhood to the recent days, you were always there with a warm smile and a thoughtful word. Your friendship with my mom Vicki was a beautiful testament to loyalty and love, and through that bond, you became family to us all.
Your strength and grace, especially in the face of such a tough battle, have left a lasting mark on our hearts. We will miss your laughter, your kindness, and the way you made every moment brighter just by being there.
Rest in peace, dear Leone. You will forever be in our hearts and memories.
With love and gratitude,
Holly (Vicki's Daughter)

Our condolences and sincere sympathy to all of the Taylor family. We appreciate how important Leone’s family was to her. And we appreciate how your Mom (Cathleen) and Leone were so adamant about including us as part of many of your family gatherings! We are so very sorry that they have both passed on, but take comfort in them being together again. We hope that your many wonderful memories of Leone, and what a special person she was, will help you at this most difficult time.
With love and prayers from Marilyn and Ray Watson.

I worked with Leone 44 years ago and loved every shift. She was a riot- loved her humour and yet she delivered excellent patient care. After two years in Wiarton we have cherished many friends throughout the years and Leone and I were in contact through FB. She loved the boys immensely and lived her life to the fullest. Cherish the many memories of Leone whomever reads this. Heartbreaking as it is, she is at peace and no suffering or pain now. Thank you for being you Leone.

I've bèen a part of the Taylor family for almost 50 years . It is so sad to lose another family member . Leone s greatest loves were her boys, grandchildren
and her siblings. To me, she was strong, independent, and found solutions to obstacles in her life . Sadly, this time, cancer won.
She loved family time and social time with friends . Leone you will be dearly missed.❤️

When I think of Leone I think of her mom Kay. Both Kay and Leone were so much a like as they were both kind and caring. They picked the best professions for them and were always considered the best nurse. Thinking of the Taylor family, may your many wonderful memories help you at this most difficult time.
Rest in Peace Leone

To the Family of my friend Leone Taylor, Dustin & Drew & families, and extended families. Sorry to hear of Leone’s passing. She was one of my very first friends here, when I moved from the city in 1969, in Grade 11. We had a lot in common/coming from big families and being “home spun”, small town gals and classmates, who loved the outdoors. Being the first of us 1953-gals to get a driver license, I remember beautiful Spring and Fall sunny days when Leone would drive us out to McNeill’s Mansion and we would have our lunch there on the grass at the beautiful Corran (when it was still in its glory). We loved those cherished quiet times. Very soon after my September arrival for school at Wiarton District High School, Leone introduced me to my very first “boyfriend”, and told me he was a “nice guy”. I must have thought so too, because 4 years of courting and 52 years married, that 1st boyfriend and I are still together. Being a Paramedic and spending many night shifts in the staff room chatting with the members of the Nursing team, Jim recalls Leone’s great sense of humour, and great stories she told. Leone and I were pretty close friends and I recall when she called me up (from the hospital labour room) to say that the baby she was having was only 1 of 2 ! SURPRISE !!
I quickly ran out to “double up” my baby gifts, and went to see Leone shortly thereafter, gifts in hand. She had one name picked, but not two. We sat and talked about baby names and she mentioned that two boys could be a lot of trouble. We laughed, and jokingly, I said “well, what about Dustin & Drew, the terrible two”? I was only kidding, but Leone loved the names, so the names were proclaimed, and I was a little tickled that I had a part in naming 1/2 of the Duo. Having come from a big family, Leone had no problems quickly sliding into the “Mommy role”, even if her babies came 2 at a time. She always spoke so lovingly of her boys.
Time flies when you have been Blessed and you can watch your blessings multiply. Cherish your many wonderful years of family memories. Laugh, cry, reminisce, talk of Leone and share lots of hugs. I think Leone was often the “tie that binds” in her big family and I know she was appreciated. She will be missed by so many - especially in the medical community. We are all Blessed to have our memories of Leone and to have had her in our lives in our special ways. We pray that God will grant you all strength, comfort and peace, as you navigate your bereavement. Good night my dear Friend. We will all feel your presence now and again I’m sure. In musical words of Bobby Vinton - “You are My Special Angel”.(Lisfen to it). Fondly, Vicki & Jim Doubt.
