Peacefully with family by her side at Lee Manor in Owen Sound Friday morning January 13, 2012. Minerva Hurst (nee Knight) of Wiarton in her 89th year. Beloved wife of the late Robert (Jim) Hurst. Loved mother of Robert and his wife Jeannette of Wiarton, Amy Noble and her friend Tom McMillan of Shallow Lake, Jim and his wife Donna, Linda Richardson and her husband Norman all of Wiarton, John and his wife Cathy of Shallow Lake, Ed of Rocky Mountain House, Alberta and Clarice Shaw and her husband Jim of Wiarton. Lovingly remembered by her 22 grandchildren, 37 great-grandchildren and 8 great-great-grandchildren. Dear sister of Eva Hamacher of Townsend and Patricia Filmore and her husband Charles of London. Also survived by several nephews and nieces. Predeceased by 1 brother Harvey, 3 sisters Hilda, Dorothy and Elsie and her son-in-law Jack Noble. Friends may call at the DOWNS AND SON FUNERAL HOME Hepworth Saturday evening from 7 to 9 pm. Funeral Service will be conducted from the Hepworth Baptist Church Sunday at 2:00 pm with Pastor Jon Dart officiating. Spring interment Edge Hill Cemetery, Colpoy's Bay. Memorial contributions to the Hepworth Baptist Church, Lee Manor or the Cancer Society would be appreciated as your expression of sympathy.
