Obituary of George Walker

At the Grey Bruce Health Services in Wiarton Monday morning December 3, 2012. George Walker of Oliphant formerly of Kitchener-Waterloo in his 85th year. Beloved husband of Jeanne (nee Solomon) for 57 years. Loved father of Cathy Grant (Stephen) of Waterloo, Dr. Ross Walker (Judith) of Kingston and Cameron Walker (Jacqueline) of Western Springs, Illinois. Lovingly remembered by his 7 grandchildren; Andrew, Emily, Fraser, Allison, Elizabeth, Jamieson and Katie. Dear brother of Dorothy McLaughlin (Cecil) of Waterloo. Predeceased by his twin sisters Evelyn Philp and Eleanor Krawchyk. A Funeral Tribute Service to honor George's life will be conducted from ZION AMABEL UNITED CHURCH, Sauble Beach Saturday afternoon December 8th at 2:00 pm with Rev. Bob Johnston officiating. Visitation one hour prior to service. Spring interment Balsam Grove Cemetery, Oliphant. Expressions of remembrance to the Wiarton Hospital or the Ontario Heart & Stroke Foundation would be appreciated.
