Obituary of Lee Murray Niven

Peacefully with his wife by his side at the Grey Bruce Health Services in Owen Sound Friday morning July 6, 2012. Lee Niven of R.R.#2 Shallow Lake formerly of Niagara Falls in his 62nd year. Loving husband of Kathryn Babin-Niven. Dear brother of Wayne, Gary (Joanne) all of Niagara Falls, Bruce (Cheri) of Burlington, Ken (Marjorie) of Niagara Falls, Cheryl (Michael Dutton) of Bowmanville and Lynne Niven (partner Kevin Walker) of Deep River. Dear brother-in-law of Robert Babin (Jeanette) and Liz (Mark Gosse) all of Thunder Bay. Lovingly remembered by several nephews and nieces. Predeceased by his parents; Roy & Jean Niven, brother Mark and sister-in-law Frances Niven. Lee was a loyal employee of SPI in Shallow Lake for 22 years and former employee of Black Clawson Kennedy, Owen Sound in the accounting department. Lee had a love and passion for cottage living on Lake Memesagemising. Friends may call at the DOWNS AND SON FUNERAL HOME Hepworth Tuesday evening from 7 to 9 pm. A Funeral Tribute Service to honor Lee's life will be conducted from St. Mary's Catholic Church, Hepworth Wednesday morning at 11:00 am with Deacon Phil Dwyer officiating. Interment St. Patrick's Cemetery, Thunder Bay. Expression of remembrance to the Canadian Cancer Society (Grey Bruce Volunteer Drivers) or the Residential Hospice, Owen Sound would be appreciated by the family.
