Obituary of Mary Ina Allen

At Kelso Villa in Owen Sound Wednesday morning April 21, 2010. The former Mary Robinson of Owen Sound in her 97th year. Beloved wife of the late Wilmer Allen. Dear sister of Doris Clifford of Owen Sound and Donna and her husband Murray Warren of Hanover. Dear sister-in-law of Edith Robinson of Port Elgin. Lovingly remembered by several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by two brothers; Judson and Kelly Robinson. Mary worked at Grafton's Men's Wear in Owen Sound for many years and later at Vicker's Optometry. She was a member of the Owen Sound Hospital Auxilary and Division Street United Church. She sang in the choir and also as a soloist. Mary was an avid golfer, curler and lawn bowler. Even in her 90's Mary was a joy to be with, always pleasant and smiling. She will be greatly missed. Friends may call at the DOWNS AND SON FUNERAL HOME Hepworth Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. Funeral Service will be conducted from the Funeral Home Saturday morning at 11:00 am with Rev. Jack Tweddle officiating. Interment Greenwood Cemetery, Owen Sound.
