As a tribute to Joan, we submit this haunting chant that was adapted from a poem by Mary E. Frye entitled, Because We are Maritimers. Do not stand on my grave and cry, I am not there, I did not die, I am the thousand winds that blow, I am the diamond glint on snow, When you awaken in the morning hush, I am the swift uplifting rush, Of quiet birds in circled flight, I am bright stars that shine at night, I am the sunlight on ripened grain, I am the gentle autumn rain. Do not stand on my grave and weep, I am not there, I do not sleep Rest in peace Joan.

Aunt Joan is an amazing and Godly woman, she is alive and at peace in the arms of Jesus. I have many fond memories of her when I was little. She would knit outfits for my barbies and sew clothes for my dolls. I still have the sweaters she knitted for my kids. I'm so thankful for all the Mole Reunions we had together at the hall. Our thoughts and prayers are with all of you at this time. Love Donna, Julia and James Collins.

Bob and I are sad at the passing of Aunt Joan. Bob and I talked about her wonderful pies and baking. We loved to visit the farm and have wonderful laughs together. Our girls Carol and Donna remember wonderful times with Joan and how kind and loving she was. Her heart was always for the children. Joan is in her reserved place in Heaven with her Heavenly Father. She will be waiting for us with her arms outstretched, a glorious smile and a loving hug. Thank you Aunt Joan

Our condolences to Teddy, Calvin, Pat, Darlene, and family during this sad time. I fondly remember as kids she was our babysitter and if we were lucky we would get to stay for a delicious dinner and then play some games afterwards. Aunt Joan taught many several important life lessons when we were little, such as family is very important, it is number one. She also taught us not to throw her eggs on the truck floor when she was trying to drive into town. One of my favorite moments over the years was of enjoying a good cup of tea and sitting having a visit in her kitchen. Aunt Joan as she was to so many will be truly missed. Sincerely Ian Sinclair and Karen Jackson
