Obituary of Marion Gertrude Buckle

Formerly of Sauble Beach and London passed away at Credit Valley Hospital, Mississauga on Saturday, September 20, 2008 in her 100th year. Predeceased by her beloved husband, Jack in 1982. Loving and devoted Mother of John of Ft. Lauderdale Fla., Donald (Jean) of London and Ross of Mississauga. Treasured by her 8 grandchildren: Debi Aboud (Karl) of Toronto; Linda Allarie (John) of Kirkland, Quebec; Dianna Lozjer (Joe) of Lucan; Sandra Stewart (Ben) and Carol Robinson of London; Donald (Cheryl) of Hillsdale; Kirsten in Alaska and Jeremy (Tammy) of Thamesford. Also survived by 10 Great Grandchildren, one Great Great Grandchild, Nieces and Nephews. Marion was a senior member of the College of Regents, Women of the Moose, London Chapter # 845 and a very active Life Member of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch #586 Hepworth and their Ladies Auxiliary and Sandpipers' club and the U.C.W. of Zion-Amabel United Church in Sauble Beach. Friends may call at the Zion-Amabel United Church, Sauble Beach on Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. The Royal Canadian Legion Branch #586 will hold a Legion Memorial Service at the Church on Friday at 7 pm. Funeral Service will be conducted from Zion-Amabel United Church, on Saturday at 11 am with Reverends Gerry Hofstetter and Jack Fearnall officiating. Interment Zion Amabel Cemetery. A luncheon for family and friends will follow at the church.
