Obituary of Jean Codsi

Suddenly at her residence in Oliphant Monday morning March 8, 2010. The former Jean Downey of R.R.#3, Wiarton in her 79th year. Loving mother of Stephen and his wife Carmen of Oakville, Leslie of Toronto and Peter and his wife Margo of Hamilton. Lovingly remembered by her 5 grandchildren; Marisa, Stefanie, Katrina, Nikolas and Jakob. Dear sister of Mary MacDonald of California, Barbara Flanagan and her husband George of Grand Valley, Patricia Salter of Bracebridge and John Downey and his wife Lynn of Barrie. Predeceased by her two sisters Joan Downey and Pauline Colbeck, one brother David Downey and her former husband Paul Codsi. Jean's childhood and life time friends, Jen & Lloyd Loney, their children and grandchildren, became a part of the family. Jean has touched many lives in her 78 years. She always took the time to say hello and extend her warm heart to a stranger. Friends may call at the DOWNS AND SON FUNERAL HOME Hepworth Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. Funeral Service will be conducted from Zion Amabel United Church, Sauble Beach Friday afternoon at 1:00 pm with Rev. Robert Gates officiating. Spring interment Balsam Grove Cemetery, Oliphant.
