FLOWERS, Violet (Peggy) peacefully with family by her side at home in Sauble Beach Sunday afternoon February 2, 2014. Peggy Flowers (nee Hamel) of Sauble Beach in her 103rd year. Beloved wife of the late Russell Flowers. Loved mother of Jessie Georgas and her husband Nick of Southampton and Nancy Splawnyk and her husband Michael of Sauble Beach. Lovingly remembered by her 8 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren. Predeceased by her daughter Faith and 5 brothers. Friends may call at the DOWNS AND SON FUNERAL HOME, Hepworth Thursday evening from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. Funeral service will be conducted from the funeral home Friday afternoon at 2:00 p.m. with Pastor David Clarke officiating. Spring interment Boyd Cemetery, Shallow Lake. Expressions of remembrance to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Ontario Heart & Stroke Foundation would be appreciated.
