ASKIN, Robert Weir peacefully with family by his side at Gateway Haven Nursing Home, Wiarton Friday evening February 21, 2014. Robert 'Bob' Askin in his 83rd year. Cherished husband of Joyce (nee Inverarity) whom he married April 15, 1950. Loving father of Robert and his wife Carolynne of Guelph, David (predeceased 1983) and his wife Shirley of Perkinsfield, Kerry and his wife Susan of Fergus, Patricia Green and her husband Michael of Collingwood and Joanne Kuzmich-Davis and her husbnd Glen of Barrie. Dear grandfather of Rob, Christopher (Jamie), Wendy (Derek), Colin, Greg, Michelle and Brad and great grandfather of Wesley, Peter, Jane and Grace. Predeceased by his brothers John, Charles and Jim. Private family funeral arrangements entrusted to the DOWNS AND SON FUNERAL HOME, Hepworth. A time to honour Bob's life will be held at a later date with interment Balsam Grove Cemetery, Oliphant.
