Obituary of Lenore Ailene Fisher
At John Joseph Place in Owen Sound Tuesday afternoon January 22, 2008. Lenore Fisher (nee Radbourne) of Owen Sound. Surviving are her husband Dr. Harry K. Fisher of Owen Sound, daughters Kathryn and her husband Alistair Crocker of Toronto, and Janet and her husband Darren Mitchell of Seattle, Washington; a sister, Donna Steinacher and her husband Fred of Owen Sound and their family. She was predeceased by her parents Percy and Ethel Radbourne of Shallow Lake. Mrs. Fisher was a graduate of the Stratford Normal School. She began her teaching career at Dufferin Public School in Owen Sound. Following her marriage she was a gifted teacher of gifted children at Saranac Public School in North York. Before the onset of her cruel disease she was an accomplished pianist, artist, craft person and gardener, activities that she enjoyed and shared while a resident of Huntsville, Welland, Don Mills, London and Stratford. Cremation with a family graveside service at Avondale Cemetery, Stratford. Memorial contributions to Stratford Summer Music or Canadian Spinal Research Organization would be appreciated as your expression of sympathy.
