Obituary of Morris Schnurr

Suddenly at his residence Wednesday evening July 20, 2011. Morris (Moe) Schnurr of Shallow Lake at the age of 81. Beloved husband of Mary Schnurr (nee King). Loving father of Bradley of Dartmouth, Nova Scotia, Glenn and his partner Jackie Kanak of Shallow Lake, Carolyn Schnurr-Rutherford of R.R.#1, Shallow Lake and Jennifer McIntosh and her husband Robert of Owen Sound. Lovingly remembered by his 7 grandchildren; Scott, Lisa, Cory and Andrew Schnurr, Jason and Carrie Rutherford and Wade McIntosh. Dear brother of Mervyn and his wife Edna of Shallow Lake, Marion Walker of Hepworth, Marcel and his wife Muriel of R.R.#1, Shallow Lake and Marilyn Saunders and her husband Bev of Hamilton. Dear brother-in-law of Lynn Schnurr of R.R.#1, Shallow Lake and Barb Cole and her husband Ernie of R.R.#5, Owen Sound. Also survived by several nephews and nieces. Predeceased by 5 sisters; Marie Jones, Mildred Schnurr, Margaret Morneau, Martina Jones, Marcella Connor and one brother Murray Schnurr. Friends may call at the DOWNS AND SON FUNERAL HOME Hepworth Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. Funeral Service will be conducted from the Shallow Lake United Church Monday morning at 11:00 am with Rev. Jack Tweddle officiating. Interment Greenwood Cemetery, Owen Sound.
