With family by her side at the Grey Bruce Health Services in Owen Sound Sunday afternoon April 29, 2012. Karen Jones (nee Karn) of Shallow Lake at the age of 59 years. Beloved wife of Bill Jones. Loving mother of Brad Downs (Tammie) of Hepworth, Chris Downs (Diana) of Owen Sound & step-mother of Laurie Wright (Todd) of Hepworth and Jen Jones (Billy) of Meaford. Lovingly remembered by her 8 grandchildren. Dear sister of Marilyn (Ben) Brown of Petawawa, Larry (Marilyn) Karn of Windsor, Leone Ringel of Owen Sound, Phyllis Van Niedek of Kingston, Jerry (Barbara) of Windsor, Jack (Anne) of Fergus, Sharen (Wayne) Hewitson of Walters Falls, Terry Karn (Lynn Stewart), Sam (Paula) Karn all of Shallow Lake. Dear sister-in-law of Al Leonard, Bill Hellyer, Bernice Cameron, Bob (Bonnie) Jones, Cliff (Karen) Jones, Bonnie Jones & Judy Jones. Also survived by several nephews & nieces. Predeceased by 2 sisters Darlene Hellyer & Linda Leonard, 5 brothers-in-law Ray Ringel, Clyde Bailey, Casey Van Niedek, Carl Jones & Ross Jones, 1 sister-in-law Ann Karn & her parents Sam & Elda Karn. Funeral Service will be conducted from Zion Amabel United Church, Sauble Beach Thursday morning at 11:00 am with Rev. Gerry Hofstetter officiating. Interment Bayview Cemetery, Wiarton.
