Obituary of Ivan Russell Hunter

Suddenly at his residence in Sauble Beach Friday morning May 11, 2012. Ivan Hunter of Sauble Beach formerly of Windsor in his 79th year. Beloved husband and best friend for 56 years of Helen (nee Friebe). Loved father of Michael (Melanie) of Sauble Beach, Nancy Weatherhead (Bruce), Pat Hunter (Carol), Donna Brick (Jeff) all of Owen Sound and Julie Kanmacher (Rod) of R.R. #2, Hepworth. Dear uncle of Charles Friebe (Judy) of Chilliwack, B.C. "Poppie" will be lovingly remembered by his 5 grandchildren; Scott, Kyle, Tyler, Ben and Jesse. Predeceased by his parents Russell and Neta Hunter, his mother-in-law Ethel Friebe and his brother-in-law Ben Friebe. Friends may call at the DOWNS AND SON FUNERAL HOME Hepworth Monday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered from Holy Family Mission, Sauble Beach Tuesday morning at 10:30 am. Vigil prayers will be recited at the funeral home Monday evening at 7:30 pm. Interment St. Mary's Cemetery, Hepworth. Expressions of remembrance to Holy Family Mission, Sauble Beach would be appreciated by the family.
