Obituary of Walter A. King

Peacefully with family by his side at Juravinski Hospital in Hamilton Friday morning July 27, 2012. Rev. Walter King of Hamilton in his 92nd year. Beloved husband for over 66 years of the late Dorothy King (nee Boyd). Walter was a United Church minister for over 35 years. Loving father of Dr. Arthur King (Leigh) of Fort Erie, Joanne King of Langley, B.C., Audrey Curtis (Tom), Jeannette Fitzpatrick (Marty) all of Hamilton, Barry King (Jennifer) of Scottsdale, Arizona, Michael King of Toronto, Angela Myles (Wayne) of Lion's Head and Kelvin King of Hamilton. Lovingly remembered by his 19 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren. Dear father-in-law of Eileen King of Scottsdale, Arizona and Alice King of Winnipeg. Predeceased by his 2 sons; Thomas & David, his granddaughter Kathryn Curtis and sister Audrey Quinton. Friends may call at the St. John's United Church, Belwood Tuesday afternoon July 31st from 2 to 5 pm. Funeral Service will be conducted from the Church Wednesday afternoon August 1st at 1:00 pm with Rev. Barry Brooks officiating. Interment McKee Cemetery, Belwood.
