Suddenly at his residence in Oliphant Monday evening September 10, 2012. John Emslie of Oliphant in his 67th year. Beloved husband of Lillian Grace Jones. Dear step-father of Rhonda Rae Kidd of Cape Croker. Dear brother of William Emslie (Gail) and Louis Emslie (Shirley) all of Fergus. Dear uncle of Kyle Emslie of Thunder Bay and Heather Emslie (Gavin) of Fergus. Predeceased by his beloved brother Gordie Emslie. A visitation to honor John's life will be held at the DOWNS AND SON FUNERAL HOME Hepworth Monday September 17th from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. Cedar Lodge #396 Wiarton will hold a Memorial Service at the funeral home Monday evening at 6:45 pm. Expression of remembrance to the Salvation Army, Wiarton would be appreciated.
