Donald "Boog" Powell 1936 - 2013 It is with great sadness that the family of Don Powell announces his passing at the Owen Sound Regional Hospital on November 10, 2013 in his 78th year. Beloved husband of Alice (nee Graham) for over 56 years. Loving Dad of Rick Powell and his wife Kathy of Sarnia, Nancy Sprung and her husband Rick of Owen Sound and Lisa Donohue and her husband John of London. Proud Grandpa/Poppa of Jessie (Brian) Edwards, Matthew and Michael Powell, Sarah, Holley and Jamie Sprung and William Donohue. Great Grandpa to Lincoln Edwards. Dear brother of Jack and the late Jean Powell of Wardsville and Ralph (Eleanor) Powell of Ventura, California. Brother-in-law of Leonard and Dorothy Graham of Beamsville and Roberta and Lloyd Scott of Markdale. Fondly remembered by many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents Carl and Margaret Powell, brother Ross Powell and brother-in-law Maurice (Bernice) Graham. Friends may call at the DOWNS AND SON FUNERAL HOME, Hepworth Wednesday from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. Funeral service will be conducted from the funeral home Thursday at 11:00 a.m. Reverend Robert Gates officiating.
