Obituary of Doug Shipley

At Summit Place Nursing Home in Owen Sound Friday afternoon August 16, 2013. Doug Shipley of Owen Sound formerly of Shallow Lake in his 84th year. Beloved husband of the late Marjorie Shipley (nee MacMillan). Loved father of June David and husband Brad of RR 1Shallow Lake and Gary Shipley and wife Lori of Hepworth. Lovingly remembered by his 9 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren. Dear brother of June Baldock of London and brother-in-law of Georgina Shipley of Shallow Lake. Predeceased by his son Wayne, brother Beverley and brother-in-law Roger Baldock. Friends may call at the DOWNS AND SON FUNERAL HOME, Hepworth Thursday from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. Funeral service will be conducted from the funeral home Friday morning at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Larry Leonard officiating.
