Obituary of Anna DeVries

Peacefully at Mapleview Nursing Home in Owen Sound Thursday morning December 19, 2013. Anna DeVries (nee Den Engelse) of Owen Sound, formerly of RR 2 Shallow Lake, in her 88th year. Beloved wife of the late Jelle 'Joe' DeVries. Loving mother of Corrine and her husband Herman Hummel of Owen Sound, Durk and his wife Alma of RR 2, Shallow Lake, Jim and his wife Marie of Parry Sound, Jerry and his wife Denise of Alberta and Henry and his wife Carol of RR 2, Shallow Lake. Lovingly remembered by 19 grandchildren and 29 great grandchildren. Also survived by 4 sisters. Predeceased by 1 brother and 1 sister. Friends may call at the DOWNS AND SON FUNERAL HOME, Hepworth Thursday December 26th from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. Funeral service will be conducted from the First Christian Reformed Church, Owen Sound Friday morning at 11:00 a.m. with Pastors Ken Gehrels and Harry Zantingh officiating.
