With family by her side on Monday July 1st, 2013 at Owen Sound Hospital. The former Joan Gibbons of Owen Sound in her 76th year. Loved mother of Penny McAskill of London, Maynard McAskill and his wife Natasha of London, Tammy McAskill-Webb of Owen Sound and Tommy McAskill and his partner Peggy Halliday of London. Lovingly remembered by her grandchildren Jody, Jason, Brittany, Amanda, Jessica, Samantha, Charly, Andrew and Savannah. Dear sister of Lorne Gibbons of Hepworth, Shirley and her husband Bevin Krumholtz of Wyoming, Jeannette and her husband Robert Hurst of Wiarton, Fred Gibbons and his wife Margaret of Hepworth, Jerry Gibbons of Allenford and Joseph Gibbons of Petrolia and sister-in-law of George Brown, Fran Gibbons and Ola Young. Predeceased by son Howie, brothers John, Michael and Angus, sister Betty Brown, sister-in-law Bertha Gibbons and son-in-law Mark Whelan.
