At Grey Bruce Health Services in Owen Sound Saturday evening March 9th, 2013. Doug Allen of Wiarton formerly of Sauble Beach and Brampton in his 81st year. Beloved husband of Joan Irving and the late Sylvia King. Dear father of Deborah Hawco (Kevin) of Brampton, Shelley-Lynn Allen of Georgetown, step-father of Ian Irving (Patricia) of Brampton and Andrew Irving (Cathy) of Shallow Lake. Lovingly remembered by his 7 granchchildren, 4 step-grandchildren and several great-grandchildren. Dear brother of Bob (Maggie) of B.C., Betty Hancock of Brampton, Don (Diane) of Cornwall, Grace McAliff (Edward) of Smith Falls, Jean Puckering (Don) of Terra Cotta, Linda Ricci (Lou) of Norval, Gary (Lenna) of Brampton and Carol Allen-Dye (Hugh) of Victoria, B.C. Predeceased by his daughter Dawn Drysdale. Friends may call at the DOWNS AND SON FUNERAL HOME Hepworth Wednesday evening from 7 to 9 pm. Funeral Service will be conducted from the Funeral Home Thursday morning at 11:00 am with Rev. Gerry Hofstetter officiating. Interment Meadowvale Cemetery, Brampton.
