Obituary of Frederick James Steinacher

At the Grey Bruce Health Services, Owen Sound Monday morning November 24, 2008. Fred Steinacher of Owen Sound in his 80th year. Beloved husband of the former Donna Radbourne. Loved father of Rod and his wife Noreen of Tobermory and Rev. Mark and his wife Brenda of Brantford. Lovingly remembered by his three grandchildren; Benjamin, Sarah and Rachel. Dear brother of Bettie Zimmerman of Palmerston. Dear brother-in-law of Dr. Harry Fisher of Stratford. Also survived by several nephews and nieces. Predeceased by his sister-in-law Lenore Fisher, brother-in-law Harvey Zimmerman and his parents William and Jessie Steinacher. Fred was a well known educator and was very active in the community. At Fred's request, cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Fred's life will be conducted from St. Andrew's Presbyterian Church, Owen Sound Saturday morning December 13th at 11:00 am with Rev. Ted Creen officiating. Visitation one hour prior to service. Memorial contributions to the Alzheimer Society, St. Andrew's Presbyterian Church or the Grey Roots "School House Project" would be appreciated as your expression of sympathy.
