Obituary of Harry Edward Cox

Peacefully with his family by his side at the Grey Bruce Health Services in Owen Sound Tuesday morning October 30, 2007. Harry Cox of Allenford in his 65th year. Loving husband of the former Sandra Girdler. Loved father of Todd and his wife Jane of Guelph, Tim and his wife Andrea of Owen Sound and Shannon Lee (Babe) of Allenford. Lovingly remembered by his four grandchildren Hillary, Bronson, Jayme and Cody. Dear brother of Murray and his wife Shirley of Owen Sound, Shirley Cox of Allenford and Marlene and her husband Bill Price of Tara. Dear brother-in-law of Ruth and her husband Ross King of Owen Sound, Shirley and her husband Glenn Kirkland of Southampton, Shirley Girdler of Owen Sound and Marg Girdler of Walkerton. Dear nephew of Florence Cox of Allenford. Also survived by several nephews and nieces. Predeceased by two brothers-in-law Gordon and Larry Girdler. Friends may call at the DOWNS AND SON FUNERAL HOME Hepworth Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. Funeral service will be conducted from the Funeral Home Friday morning at 11:00 am with Rev. Henry Sikkema officiating. Interment Hillcrest Cemetery, Tara. Expressions of remembrance to the Cancer Society, Grey Bruce Regional Health Centre Foundation or St. Andrew's Presbyterian Church, Allenford would be appreciated.
