Peacefully at Lee Manor, Owen Sound Friday evening January 15, 2016. Ivan Matches of Park Head in his 92nd year. Beloved husband of Verna (nee McMullen) for 68 years. Cherished father of Carol and her husband Bill Stewart of Owen Sound, Doug and his wife Nancy of Park Head, Sharon and her husband Patric McKenzie of Owen Sound, Dennis and his wife Joanne of Park Head, John and his wife Candi of Jackson, Brenda and her husband Peter Scott of Owen Sound, Jim and his wife Wendy of Park Head, David and his wife Terry of Park Head and Kathy and her husband Craig Cameron of East Linton. Loved by 25 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren. Dear brother-in-law of Ross and Joan McMullen of Kitchener. Predeceased by brother Kelland and his wife Margaret as well as 2 great grandchildren. Friends may call at the DOWNS AND SON FUNERAL HOME, Hepworth Monday from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. The funeral service will be conducted from the Zion Amabel United Church, Sauble Beach on Tuesday at 11:00 a.m. with Rev.
