Dear Elizabeth, Bonnie, Heather, Cindy, Larry and families,
Jean was a very strong woman who loved her family. She was always friendly with keen sense of humour. She and your Dad were a big part of the growth of Sauble; another pioneering family of the Beach! They made important contributions not only in promoting tourism but also to the buliding of our year round community of Sauble.
We regret we were unable to pay our respects to you in person.
On behalf of our mom, Dorothy Low, and my brother and sister, please accept our deep condolences for the
loss of your Mom and Grandma as you celebrate her life's journey today.
Maureen, Fran and George Low

My thoughts and prayers are with your family. I remember Jean playing bridge with mom (Marg Gibson) and the friendships that came from that relationships. It allowed our family to meet Heather, Cindy and Bonnie. May your happiest moments with your mom keep you smiling and forever thankful.

"How lucky am I to have someone that makes saying goodbye so hard?"
My heart is broken that you are gone from our lives, Grandma but it fills my heart knowing you are at peace and with Grandpa. There's not a day that goes by that I don't think of you, wishing I could hug you one last time.
xoxo

So saddened to hear of this news. Was just thinking about her the other day. This lovely lady gave me my first job ever at the beach when I was 13. I will never forget working for her and I still laugh about her telling Ernie to get out of the kitchen. Lol or how she would get mad at us kids..Jeff and Craig included if we weren't pulling our weight hahaha and I remember the clothing shop she had with Bonnie too. "Chez BJ's". Got my first snowmobile suit there after moving up from Windsor. But mostly I miss her pies and cookies at Christmas time. She was like another grandmother to me rest in peace Jean. You will be greatly missed. .

My condolences to the whole family. I worked for Ernie and Jean for a few years at Blackburn's BP as a teenager and have great memories of pumping gas, picking dew worms, working in the gift and grocery store and cooking in the restaurant. They were wonderful people and respected in the community. I know Jean will be missed.
