Obituary of David John Phillips

Peacefully at Wiarton Hospital early Monday afternoon April 24, 2017. Dave Phillips of Sauble Beach and formerly of Rexdale in his 86th year. Beloved husband of Edna 'Lou' (nee Kennedy) for 55 years. Cherished father of Nancy Davidson and her husband Tim of Cambridge, K.C. Phillips of Mississauga, and Suzanne Phillips of Sauble Beach. Loving grampa of Rebecca, Jessica (Joel), Matthew, Joshua, Sean, Ashley and Sophia. Dear brother of Patricia 'Patsy' Phillips of Lindsay. Missed by many nieces, nephews, and cousins. Predeceased by parents Delly (nee Fitzgerald) and George Phillips and brother George and sister Joan Fifield. Friends may call the DOWNS AND SON FUNERAL HOME, Hepworth on Thursday from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. and 7:00 to 9:00pm. The funeral mass will be conducted from the funeral home on Friday at 1:00 p.m. with visitation 1 hour prior. Father Emmanuel Ogboli officiating.
