Obituary of Blanche Middleton

With heavy hearts, the Middleton family wishes to announce the passing of a beautiful woman at Grey Bruce Health Services, Owen Sound late Tuesday evening June 13, 2017.  Blanche Middleton of  Owen Sound and formerly of Wiarton and Sauble Beach in her 93rd year.  Her presence will be missed, her memory treasured and she will live in the hearts of all who knew her forever.  Beloved wife of 62 years of the late Warren Middleton (2006). Cherished mother of Russell and his wife Eva of Sauble Beach, Stuart and his wife Muriel of Cornwall, Byron of Owen Sound, Victoria White and her husband Gordon of Caledon, Kevin and his wife Nancy of Midland, Jeffrey and his wife Jo of Mississauga, Jewel  Middleton of Owen Sound, and Judy and her partner Frank Scarpino of Brampton.  Cherished grandmother of Jacqui (James), Daniel, Jay (Dawn), Andrew, Nathan, Jennifer, Melissa (Taylor), Jonathan (Noosh), Nathan, Johanna (Adam), Jessica, Jeffrey (Lindsay), Sarah, Gregory, Natasha (Steve) and Stephanie.  Beloved great grandmother of 20 and great great grandmother of 1.  Dear sister of Joyce Moore of Toronto.    Blanche devoted her life to family, both immediate and extended, always with an open heart, soft touch and warm smile that exuded 'unconditional love'.  Predeceased by her son Dennis as well as her brothers and sisters Victor, Robert,  Phyllis, May and Gilbert.  The funeral service will be conducted from the DOWNS AND SON FUNERAL HOME, Hepworth on Saturday at 1 p.m.  Visitation 1 hour prior to the service.  Interment Zion Cemetery.  Expressions of remembrance to the Heart & Stroke Foundation or the Arthritis Society would be appreciated.  Messages of condolence may be sent to the family through www.downsandsonfuneralhome.com
