Obituary of Jim Beirnes

BEIRNES, James Harvey peacefully at Gateway Haven Nursing Home, Wiarton Friday morning August 25, 2017.  Jim Beirnes of Sauble Beach in his 84th year.  Beloved husband of Jane (nee Nickel)  for 57 years.  Cherished father of Shane of Tara and Holli of Owen Sound.  Loving grandfather of Rachel, Beau, Hannah and Maya.  Dear brother of Doreen Atchison of Allenford and brother-in-law of Marj and Gordon Wark of Chesley, Keith and Marie McDonald of Southampton, Faerlene Nickel of Tara, Joyce and Gerry Doyle of Belleville and Mary Nickel of Listowel.  Predeceased by daughter Paula, sister-in-law Evelyn Brusso, brothers-in-law John Nickel, Carman Nickel and Bert Atchison and parents Harvey and Jean (nee Walker) Beirnes.  Friends may call at the DOWNS AND SON FUNERAL HOME, Hepworth on Tuesday from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m.  The funeral service will be conducted from the Zion Amabel United Church, Sauble Beach on Wednesday at 11:00 a.m. with visitation 1 hour prior to the service.  Interment Zion Cemetery.
