Dear Jerry and the Ayres family,
So very sorry to hear of Dianne's passing. I'm so glad I got to meet the two of you at Tom's 75th last year. Just from that short conversation I could tell Dianne was a lovely person and she'll be missed by you all. May she rest in peace.

So sorry for yours & our loss of a great woman. Your wife, mother, & grandmother was my first Head Nurse. As a young student to graduation & beyond Dianne led her staff with wisdom, compassion, support, encouragement & professionalism. We reconnected recently on Facebook where I told her how much she has meant to me & my career. I tell the young nurses I work with about her & the opportunities she gave me. I will not forget her!

Dear Gerry & Family,
We feel honoured and privileged to have known Dianne. Memories of her sweet smile and gentle ways will forever remain in our hearts. I will, especially, remember the fun times we shared as "bucket" buddies at the Church Bazaar. Dianne was an amazing organizer. I also appreciate that final cup of tea and conversation we enjoyed together, in her home in Sauble Beach.
The loss of someone dear is never easy. Heartfelt sympathies to all. Dianne will be sorely missed.

To Gerry and family,
Allan and I were deeply saddened by the news of Dianne's passing.
As an almost brand new grad I went to work in the PGH ER in 1967 and was there until 1979. During that time I learned so much from Dianne that helped me with the rest of my nursing career. Her leadership was firm but also caring about her staff and I never forgot her. I do remember if there was one thing we feared it was being caught with shoes and shoe laces that were not 100% clean.
I was fortunate to be at Dianne's Retirement dinner and the attendance reflected how much she was respected and loved. May you feel the same support of so many whose lives were touched by Dianne as you face the difficult days ahead.
Sincerely Heather and Allan Bedford

It is with deep sadness that I send my condolences to the Jerry and the Ayres family. It was ways a pleasure chatting at church and Dianne had a bright and warm greeting whenever we spoke. He voice in the choir will be sadly missed as well as her song in the Community Choir. Many times over the recent years it was a pleasure giving Jerry a ride to the hockey games in Owen Sound and sharing conversation during the game. God Bless

Dianne was a very special person to me and to our family. She was always loyal, kind, compassionate, and a very sweet person. She was always in your corner, had a great ear to listen and advise, and she was very wise. She will be dearly missed by the Glasgow family as we thought the world of her and she was especially dear to our Mother, Anne, as well. Her kindness will never, ever be forgotten. We've lost a truly wonderful lady.

I'm so sorry for your loss. Diane was a wonderful peron. I first met Diane when Terry and l took over the Ccc committee. I didn't know which way to turn but Diane was there for me with that smile and little laugh and helped me along. We had a lot of laughs together in that kitchen. I'm going to miss her . Our thoughts and prayers are with the family at this time

I worked in ER at PGH from 1980 until she left. She is the reason I am the nurse I am today. She was a knowledgeable mentor, a compassionate nurse and the epitome of organization. She loved her family and was a well respected member of the hospital family too! The world could use a few more just like her. My thoughts are with her family at this sad time.
