Dear Shirley,
We will miss your dear husband, Merv. He was a good man and a good friend. Jawnie has sent you something more personal. We'll come to see you as soon as we arrive in June. Merv was invaluable around our place over the years. He used to bring us fish he'd caught in the lake. He always had a chipper attitude, loved to paint and was a great help to us after Gretchen and Ray died. He'll always be a part of us, as will you.
