Obituary of Grace Isabel Monahan

MONAHAN, Grace Isabel peacefully at Lee Manor Nursing Home, Owen Sound Friday morning December 7, 2018.  Grace Monahan (nee Howey) of Owen Sound and formerly of Shallow Lake in her 96th year.  Beloved wife of the late James Monahan (1989).  Cherished mother of Wayne (pre 2018) and his wife Gwen of  Shallow Lake, Ann Potocki (Mike pre) of Shallow Lake, Kathy Krulicki and her husband Wayne of Kitchener, John and his wife Mary Jane of Wiarton and Krista Greig (Fred) of Owen Sound.  Much loved grandmother of 12, great grandmother of 12 and great great grandmother of 1.  Dear sister of Barry Howey and his wife Verna of Shallow Lake.  Missed by several nieces and nephews.  Predeceased by parents Viola (nee Beckett) and Stewart Howey, sisters Jean McNabb and Margaret Howey and brother James Howey.  Friends may call at the DOWNS AND SON FUNERAL HOME, Hepworth Tuesday from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. The funeral service will be conducted from the funeral home on Wednesday at 1:00 p.m.  Spring interment Boyd Cemetery.  Expressions of remembrance to the Shallow Lake United Church would be appreciated.
