Obituary of Marion Gertrude Veroni

VERONI, Marion Gertrude peacefully at Grey Bruce Regional Health Centre, Owen Sound Monday morning December 17, 2018. Marion Veroni (nee Urell) of Owen Sound and formerly of Sauble Beach, Guelph and Brampton in her 95th year. Beloved wife of the late Dr. Frank Veroni and the late Donald Calarco. Cherished mother of Rosemary Mulligan and her husband Brian of Kingsville, Margaret Falconer (Keith pre) of Belmont, Thomas of Hamilton, Frances Bindon and her husband John of Burlington and Tony and his wife Karen of Shallow Lake. Loving grandmother of Kelly (Rick), Shannon (Tony), Kimberly, Marshall, Dominick and Annika and great grandmother of Jack, Moira and Matthew.  When residing in Brampton, Marion was a member of the Brampton Oratorial Choir, was a volunteer at the Peel Memorial Hospital and assisted with Mentally Challenged Workshops.  In Guelph, Marion was a volunteer with Guelph Hospice.  Marion was also an active church volunteer and choir member in each of the communities where she resided.     Predeceased by parents Alice (nee Neasmith) and Patrick Urell and sisters Gladys McCart,  Helen Barnard, Eileen Edwards, Patricia Stonehouse and Rita Bolt. Friends may call at the DOWNS AND SON FUNERAL HOME, Hepworth on Thursday evening from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m.  Prayers will be recited at the funeral home Thursday evening at 7:00 p.m.  Funeral Mass will be celebrated at the St. Mary's Roman Catholic Church, Owen Sound Friday morning at 11:00 a.m.  Spring Interment St. Mary's Cemetery, Hepworth.
