Obituary of Peggy Clarke

CLARKE, Margaret 'Peggy' Amy went to be with her Lord Jesus surrounded by the love of her family Wednesday July 17, 2019.  Peggy Clarke (nee Rowan) of Owen Sound and formerly of Hepworth in her 90th year.  Beloved wife of Rev. David Clarke.  Cherished mother of Elizabeth Wells of Port Elgin, Margaret Burkholder and her husband Rev. Dan of St. Thomas, Lois Musselman and her husband Dave of Owen Sound, Dr. David Clarke and his wife Kathy of Parry Sound, Gwen Houston and her husband Dr. Dave of Timmins and Anne Guenther and her husband Lawrence of Waterloo.  Much loved grandmother of 18 (11 spouses) and great grandmother of 20 with 2 on the way.  Dear sister of Elizabeth 'Beth' Eby and Norma Rowan and her husband Jerry Jordan all of St. Jacobs and sister-in-law of Douglas Clarke of Whitchurch-Stouffville, Ruth Clarke of Vineland and Louise Clarke of Aurora.  Predeceased by son-in-law Bob Wells and brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law Gertrude (Donald) Moyer, Ruth (Ted) Roberts, Bruce (Norma, Eleanor) Clarke, Margaret Clarke, Keith Clarke and Elwyn Eby.  Friends may call at the DOWNS AND SON FUNERAL HOME, Hepworth on Sunday July 21st from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m.  The funeral service will be conducted from the Hepworth Baptist Church on Monday at 2:00 p.m. with Pastor Jamie Simkins officiating.  Interment Springvale Baptist Church Cemetery, Stouffville.  Expressions of remembrance to the Hepworth Baptist Church, Compassion Canada or The Xchange would be appreciated.  Messages of condolence may be sent to the family through www.downsandsonfuneralhome.com
