Obituary of Roy Burnett
BURNETT, Roy Clair with family by his side at Grey Bruce Health Services, Owen Sound Sunday afternoon October 20, 2019. Roy Burnett of Sauble Beach in his 89th year. Beloved husband of Marian (nee Hill). Cherished father of Nancy Burnett and her husband Ron Nichol of Stratford and Jennifer Dault and her husband Terry of Sauble Beach. Much loved grandfather of Jason (Lindsay), Draven (Valerie) and Tavia (Sean) and great grandfather Tealey, Dawson, Maddie, Kenzie and Kylie. Dear brother of Eileen and Alex Seaton of Woodstock and Edwin and Marlene Burnett of Oliphant and brother-in-law of Donna and Frank Dentinger of Wiarton and Douglas and Wendy Hill of Owen Sound. Predeceased by parents Bessie (nee Deline) and Walter Burnett, brother Robert (Eleanor), sister-in-law Irene Hill and brother-in-law Barry Hill. Starting on the first day they opened, Roy worked at Edwards of Canada in Owen Sound retiring after 37 years as V.P. of Marketing. Friends may call at the DOWNS AND SON FUNERAL HOME, Hepworth on Thursday October 24th from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. The funeral service will be conducted from the Sauble Beach United Church on Friday morning at 11:00 a.m. Interment Mount Pleasant Cemetery, Georgian Bluffs.
