Obituary of Marlene Isabelle Gouthro

GOUTHRO, Marlene Isabelle peacefully with her daughters and sister by her side at Chapman House, Owen Sound, Friday August 14, 2020. Marlene Gouthro (nee Liphard) of Shallow Lake in her 85th year. Beloved wife of the late Michael Gouthro. Cherished mother of Karen Edwards of Cambridge and Brenda Guy and her husband Don of Oshawa. Loving grandmother of 7, great grandmother of 14 and great great grandmother of 3. Dear sister of Donald Liphard of Arthur and Phyllis Horton (Gerry) of Williamsford. Predeceased by parents Adeline (nee McKersie) and Stanley Liphard, son Steven Handy, brother Kenneth Liphard and sisters Elaine Liphard and Muriel King. Visitation will be held Monday, August 17, 2020 from 12:00 p.m. to 12:45 p.m. at the DOWNS AND SON FUNERAL HOME, Hepworth.  A private family funeral service will follow.  In accordance with Covid-19 regulations, all those attending are required to wear a mask and practice social distancing.  Interment Boyd Cemetery, Shallow Lake.
