Obituary of George Brown

Peacefully at his residence, surrounded by family, on Wednesday, March 23, 2022. George Brown of Georgian Bluffs and formerly of Hepworth in his 84th year. Beloved husband of Nancy (nee Howarth) and the late Betty (nee Gibbons). Cherished father of Shelley McMillan and her husband Gary of Shallow Lake, Bonnie Brown of Owen Sound, George and his wife Kerry Robinson of Owen Sound, Doug and his partner Lena Gomes of Clavering, Tracey Hick and her husband Peter of Southampton, Trevor and his wife Elly of Southampton, Allison Trumbley and her husband Tim of Southampton and Lindsay Sanvido and her husband Greg of Laurel.  Much loved grandfather of Gary, Sarah, Leah, Ashley, Zachary, George, Cody, Jonathan, Amber, Alyssa, Jarrett, Hunter, Auron and  Rosetta.  Great grandfather and great great grandfather of many.  Dear brother of Ken of London and brother-in-law of Betty Brown of St. Thomas.  Predeceased by parents Sarah (nee White) and Cyril Brown, grandchildren Ross and Cassaundra and brother Jack.

Family and friends are invited to share memories at the DOWNS AND SON FUNERAL HOME, Hepworth on Monday from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. The funeral service will be conducted at the Funeral Home on Tuesday at 2:00 p.m. Pastor Mary Turner officiating. Spring interment at Zion Cemetery, Hepworth. Expressions of remembrance to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Canadian Mental Health Association Grey Bruce would be appreciated.
