Obituary of Loretta David

Peacefully with family by her side at the Grey Bruce Health Services in Owen Sound Tuesday morning September 15, 2009. The former Loretta Flood of Shallow Lake in her 77th year. Beloved wife of Nick David. Loving mother of Brad and his wife June, Brian and his wife Kelly all of Shallow Lake, Bruce and his wife Pat of R.R.#1, Shallow Lake, Lorri and her husband Peter Mudrovcic of Oakville and Michelle David of Owen Sound. Lovingly remembered by her 9 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren. Dear sister of Wallace Flood and his partner Sheila of London and Bob Flood and his wife Maralyn of Shallow Lake. Predeceased by one sister Verna Jackson and one brother Raymond Flood. Nick & Loretta owned and operated Loretta's Lunch & Gas Bar in Shallow Lake for many years. A Celebration of Loretta's Life will be conducted from the Shallow Lake United Church Sunday afternoon September 20th at 3:00 pm with Rev. Jack Tweddle officiating. Visitation one hour prior to service. Cremation with interment at Boyd Cemetery, Shallow Lake. Memorial contributions to the Shallow Lake United Church or Grey Bruce Regional Health Centre Foundation would be appreciated as your expression of sympathy.
