Dear Barb and family. Saying goodbye to Alfo forever is not an easy thing for me to say. He has been in ourr lives (Heather and me and kids and extended family etc)since he was a boy 17 yrs old. He came to live with us then as he did not want to move to E'town with his mom;bro and sister so that was that. He became a member of our family,big brother to Peeper Catherine and Mikey. We loved him to bits. There is too much to put down on paper about the time we had him in our lives suffice to say JOB WELL DONE BIG AL)love you forever buddy. THE TOOL AND TOOLETTE AND ALL LITTLE TOOLS.xxx

Peter Henry, who is married to Al's sister Heather, is my cousin. I have known Al, off and on, for a long time. I was so sad to hear of his sudden passing. I know he will be greatly missed by many people. He was a lovely man. My sincere condolences to Barb and the children.

Bobbi, Curtis, Michelle, Josh, Johny & Ryan. We were so sorry to hear the sad news of the passing of Al. We have so many fond memories of Al! He always had a smile….a joke ….. a big teddy bear hug! Al was an amazing husband, father, grand father, brother, son, brother in law & uncle. Al will be deeply missed by all of us. Our thoughts and prayers are with you all. Love, Lisa, Brad & Troy xo

I hadn't seen Al in person since he was a kid in Montreal, but that lovely picture fills in the years and says it all: open face, warm smile.
