Obituary of Shirley Redmond

REDMOND, Shirley Caroline peacefully with family by her side at Grey Bruce Health Services, Wiarton on Wednesday, August 9, 2023.  Shirley Redmond of Wiarton and formerly of Tara in her 95th year.  Beloved wife of the late Mervin Redmond (2018).  Cherished mother of Lois (Ross Beckett) of Keady and the late Dennis (2018) (Susan Montgomery) of Owen Sound.  Much loved grandmother of Lisa Slot and Kevin Breutigam of Wiarton, Brad Stephen and Michelle of Kilsyth, Angela Whitney and Ryan of Owen Sound and Vanessa Redmond of Owen Sound, great grandmother of Karissa (Adrian), Mariah (Ben), Tristan, Parker, Corey, Jack and Blake and great great grandmother of Lennyn.  Dear sister-in-law of Marion Redmond of Owen Sound.  Missed by many nieces, nephews and friends.  Predeceased by great grandson Brent Stephen, parents Emma (nee Wathke) and Andrew Sachs, sister Eileen Klages and brothers Cecil and Orneth.

The funeral service will be conducted from the DOWNS AND SON FUNERAL HOME, Hepworth on Monday, August 14th at 1:00 p.m. with visitation 2 hours prior to the service.  Interment Hillcrest Cemetery, Tara.  Expressions of remembrance to the Wiarton Hospital c/o Bruce Peninsula Hospitals Foundation would be appreciated.  Messages of condolence may be sent to the family through www.downsandsonfuneralhome.com
