Obituary of Ronald McNeill

McNEILL, Ronald Gordon passed peacefully at Southbridge Long Term Care, Owen Sound early Thursday, September 7, 2023.  Ronald McNeill of Owen Sound and formerly of Sauble Beach in his 84th year.  Loved father of John and his wife Dawn of Lakeshore and Andrew of Lakeshore.  Much loved grandfather of Jessica, Kestrel and Quinn and great grandfather of Ryder and Rain.  Dear brother of Edith Middlebro and her husband John (deceased) of Owen Sound and Doug McNeill and his wife Joyce of Burlington.  Forever remembered by his nieces and nephews, John/Heather, Reid/Courtney, Michael/Melanie, Elizabeth/Jason, Kristine/Brett, Robert/Jennifer, Scott/Tammy, David, Brad/Beth.  Remembered by Neil Kinzie (Etsuko) and Carolyn Kinzie (Colin), both of Toronto and their children Neko, Serena (Sam) and Henry.  Predeceased by his parents Gertrude (nee Anderson) and Gordon McNeill and former wife Janis McNeill.

The funeral service will be conducted at the DOWNS AND SON FUNERAL HOME, Hepworth on Saturday, September 16, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. with visitation 1 hour prior to the service.  Interment Zion Cemetery.  Expressions of remembrance to the Canadian Cancer Society, the Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Parkinson Society of Southwestern Ontario would be appreciated.  Messages of condolence may be sent to the family through www.downsandsonfuneralhome.com
