Obituary of Ernie Benson

BENSON, Ernest 'Ernie' peacefully at Ajax Pickering Hospital, Ajax late Thursday, February 29, 2024.  Ernie Benson of Ajax and formerly of Sauble Beach in his 101st year.  Beloved husband of the late Daisy Scott 'Dee' Benson (2019).  Cherished father of Jennifer Weston and her husband Bruce of Ajax and Darlene Krupa and her husband Michael of Calgary.  Much loved grandfather of Matthew (Melissa), Erin, Jordan and Avery and great grandfather of Aubrey and Rory. Predeceased by parents Jessie (nee Campbell) and Alexander Benson and 8 brothers and 7 sisters

The funeral service will be conducted at the Sauble Christian Fellowship Church on Wednesday, March 13th at 2:00 p.m. with visitation 1 hour prior to the service.  Spring interment Zion Cemetery.  Arrangements entrusted to the DOWNS AND SON FUNERAL HOME, Hepworth.  Expressions of remembrance to Sauble Christian Fellowship Church would be appreciated.  Messages of condolence may be sent to the family through www.downsandsonfuneralhome.com
