We met Karl through Rod & Robin Weller in Sauble Beach. Rod often spoke of Karl and would tell stories of how Karl came into his life and the fatherly role he played. May he rest in peace. Deepest condolences to his family. Tanya & Thomas Bezruki

The news of Karl's passing was received with great sadness. I have only known Karl for about 6 or 7 years and enjoyed listening to the many tales of his life over a cup of instant coffee! I will remember him with fondness always!

Our sincere condolences!! He was truly a great man, gentleman and neighbor. He will be deeply missed by all that know him!! I started working for Karl and Elaine on their farms when I was 12 years old and did so for many years. Karl was not only a great boss but friend. Besides work he took us to many events in the area such as pro wrestling in Owen Sound and many times to the stock car races as well as fishing and moose hunting trips to the hunt camp. My first trip to the hunt camp fishing was when I was 13, when we returned home Karl gave me a cheque for the week, said I worked hard all week and deserved it. Could not believe it!! Many times he filled up our snowmobile when a group of the neighbors would be going out for an evening run. Karl was like a second father. I have a lot of great memories. RIP Karl
