Obituary of Ken Barfoot

BARFOOT, Kenneth Russel peacefully at Owen Sound Hospital on Monday, September 2, 2024.  Ken Barfoot of Clavering in his 86th year. Beloved husband of Barbara Barfoot (nee Green) for almost 64 years. Cherished father of Shelley Barfoot-O'Neill (Brian) of Kleinburg and the late Kenneth Shawn Barfoot.  Much loved grandfather of Adam (Liz) and Shea and great grandfather of Riley, Hunter, Grayson, Griffyn, Levi, Nelson and Noah.  Dear brother of Sheila Schultz of Wiarton and brother-in-law of Linda Barfoot (John), Joyce Inglis and Ileen Green.  He will be forever remembered by Doug Schultz, Anna Ervin (Scott) and Family, Zac Goodacre (Brookelyn) and family and the entire 4-H and agriculture community.  Missed by many nieces and nephews.  Predeceased by parents Laura (nee Bumstead) and Russel Barfoot, brother Larry Barfoot, brothers and sisters-in-law Carl Schultz, Doug Green (Faye), Jim Green, Morrison Green, Bob Green (Ayleen), Marilyn Dobson (Ben), Don Green and Emma Green.

Family and friends are invited to share memories at the DOWNS AND SON FUNERAL HOME, Hepworth on Tuesday, September 10th from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. Funeral will be conducted from the Shallow Lake United Church on Wednesday, September 11th at 11:00 a.m.  Interment Bayview Cemetery, Wiarton. Expressions of remembrance to Grey County 4-H or the Wiarton Hospital c/o Bruce Peninsula Hospitals Foundation would be appreciated.
