Obituary of Sarah "Sadie" Fenton

FENTON, Sarah Ethel 'Sadie' peacefully with family by her side at Southbridge Long Term Care, Owen Sound Saturday morning September 28, 2024.  Sadie Fenton formerly of Allenford in her 97th year.  Beloved wife of the late Thomas James 'T.J./Tommy' Fenton (2015).  Cherished mother of Terry and his wife Rhonda of Owen Sound, Emily Innis and her husband Kevin of Burlington and Jewel Gomaa and her husband Hassan of West Arran.  Much loved grandmother of Jamie (Christine), Matthew (Mikila), Shauna (James), Laura (Curtis), Carolyn (Reg), Daniel (Micha) and Hossam and great grandmother of Sebastian, Huck, Everett, Ellie, Archer, Luke, Lena, Alyssa and Amelia.  Dear sister-in-law of Muriel Gowan, Ross Herron and Gordon Farrow.  Missed by many nieces and nephews.  Predeceased by parents Fanny May (nee Carson) and Robert Lee Gowan, brothers Neil, Willis (Madalene), John (Thelma) and Donald (Bernice) and sisters Margaret Buckton (Cecil), Ruby Legge (Gordon), Laureen Gowan (Joe), Mary Herron and Anna Farrow.

Family and friends may call at the DOWNS AND SON FUNERAL HOME, Hepworth on Thursday, October 10, 2024 from 4:00 - 7:00 p.m. for a time of visitation.  The funeral service will be conducted at the funeral home on Friday, October 11th at 11:00 a.m.  Interment Hillcrest Cemetery, Tara.  Expressions of remembrance to Allenford United Church, the Owen Sound Hospital Foundation or the Southampton Hospital Foundation would be appreciated.  Messages of condolence may be sent to the family through www.downsandsonfuneralhome.com
