Obituary of Thomas Gordon McMillan

Peacefully at Summit Place Nursing Home Owen Sound, Friday evening December 30, 2016. Tom McMillan of Shallow Lake in his 81st year. Loving husband and best friend of Amy Noble-McMillan (nee Hurst). Loved by step-children Kathy (Brad), John, Brian and Mary Lynne (Rob) and grandfather of 5. Cherished brother of Irene Northcott of Chatham and Laura Galbraith of Owen Sound and brother-in-law of Robert Hurst (Jennette), Jim Hurst (Donna), Linda Richardson (Norman), John Hurst (Cathy), Ed Hurst (Carol) and Clarice Shaw (Jim). Tom was a special Uncle to many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by sisters Margaret Cameron (Bill), Marjorie Shipley (Doug) and infant brother Daniel and brothers-in-law Arthur Ash, Lorne Northcott and Gerald Galbraith. Friends may call at the DOWNS AND SON FUNERAL HOME, Hepworth on Tuesday from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. The funeral will be conducted from the Shallow Lake United Church on Wednesday morning at 11:00 a.m. Rev.
